A ball is thrown vertically upward it covers a height h and comes back in the hands of the thrown calculate the distance and displacement

• distance : In this case the ball reaches the height H and returns back therefore,

distance S = H + H = 2H

• displacement :

displacement is equal to ' ZERO ' it's because the ball returns back to the hands of the person who throwed the ball.
