SOLUTION:-

As the ball is thrown vertically upward then the final velocity is =0m/s(v)

the initial velocity is=25m/s(u)

acceleration due to gravity=10m/s^2(g)

time taken =t sec.

We know,

v=u+(-g)t

because here the motion is opposite of acceleration due to gravity.so we have to apply -g

=>0=25-10t

=>10t=25

=>t=25/10=2.5 sec

height=s

s=ut+1/2(-g)t^2

=>s=(25×2.5)+1/2(-10)(2.5)^2

=>s=62.5+31.25

=>s=93.75m

hope it helps you
