A ball is thrown vertically upward with a velocity of 49 metre per second calculate the maximum height to which its rises the time it's taken it was the maximum height

Answer:

u = 49 m/s

v = 0 at max height( h )

v² - u² = -2gh

0² - 49²= - 2 × 9.8 × h

h = (49 × 49)/(2 × 9.8) = 47059.6 m

(v - u)/-g = t

t = -49/-9.8= 5 s
