accelation =  \frac{v - u}{t}

thrown with a velocity=9.8m/s....initcial velocity

final velocity is 0m/s becuase the stone stop for few seconds at the end of the trip.....then

\large{timetaken=10sec}

accelaration = \frac{0mpersec - 98mpersec}{10sec}  \\  =  - 9.8mpersecond {}^{2}

Anonymous: 2nd line it is 98m/s not 9.8m/s
