A ball is thrown vertically upward with a velocity u from the top of a tower. If it strikes the ground with velocity 3u, the time taken by the ball to reach the ground is
I found the answer to be u/g in the first case then it should be u/g in the case 2 also right? Becoz time of ascent =time of descent. So the answer should be 2u/g . But the actual is 4u/g.why?explain
