a ball is thrown vertically upward with velocity 20 m/s from the top of the tower height of tower is 25 m from ground find how high ball will rise (b)total time taken to strike the ground (c) what velocity it strike the ground .

t_max height=v/g=20/9.8=2.04 secs

d=1/2 gt²

=4.9(4.165)

=20.4m above the building

If v_final=30 m/s, then:

v_final=√2gh

(30)²=900=2 x 9.8 x h

=19.6h

h=45.92

45.92–20.4=25.52m as the height of the building
