a ball is thrown vertically upwards and reaches a maximum height in 3 seconds . find the velocity with which it was thrown upwards and the maximum height attained by the ball

t=3.  u=?    v=0.     g=-9.8

v=u+at

0=u+(-9.8)3

u=29.4 m/s

v^2-u^2=2as

0- 864.36 = 2*-9.8*s

s = 864.36/19.6

s= 44.1 m
