a ball is thrown vertically upwards from top of a tower with a speed of 100m/s

Then calculate Time of acent for it

Ta = u/g

Ta = 100/10

Ta = 10sec

so Time of decent is also same as Time of acent .

Total time of flight to reach same level of top of the floor is 20sec

Then time taken by the ball to reach the ground from top of the tower is

t= 25 - 20

= 5 sec

that means ball travels to the base of the tower in 5 sec with speed 100 m/s

use formula

. S=ut + 1/2 at^2

= 100*5 + 10*5^2

= 500 + 250

= 750 m
