A ball is thrown vertically upwards. It goes to a height

of 20m and then returns to the ground. Taking g=10ms-2

find the initial velocity of the ball and total time of the

journey​

h=20m

g=-10ms-²

v=0m/s

2gh=v²-u²

2×-10×20=0²-u²

-400=-u²

√400=u

20=u

(v-u)/t=-10

(0-20)/t=-10

t=2 second

Ans=u=20m/s , t = 2 second
