Initial Velocity(u)= ?
Final Velocity(v)= 0 m/s
Total time =6second
therefore. Assuming that Time for upward journey is 3 sec and return journey 3 sec.
Acceleration due to gravity(g)= 10 m/s (assume)

We know that

V=u-gt. [taking g negative as it goes against gravity]
V=u-gt
or 0=u - 10*3. [ V. i.e final velocity is zero as
stops when reach
or u= 30m/s. the ball reaches at max height]

another equation
S=ut-1/2gt(t)
or S= 30*3 - 1/2[10 *3*3 ]
or S = 90 - 1/2 [90 ]
or S= 90- 45
or S = 45 m
HEIGHT IS 45 METER and INITIAL VELOCITY IS 30 m/s.
