A ball is thrown vertically upwards .it returns 6s later calculate:(i)the greatest height reached by the ball,and (ii)the initial velocity of the ball (take g=10 ms^-2)

time of ascent =half of time of flight=3s
t =  \sqrt{ \frac{2h}{g} }
9 =  \frac{2h}{g}
h = 45 \: meters
time \: of \: ascent \: is \: also =  \frac{u}{g}
3  =  \frac{u}{g}
u = 30
