A ball is thrown vertically upwards with a velocity of 20 m/s from the ground. Find : {I} the maximum height reached by the ball. {II} the time taken by the ball in reaching the maximum height.

Answer :

Use the equation,

v²=u²−2ghv²=u²−2gh

Here, v=0m/s, u= 20m/s, g=10m/s²(approx)

Substituting these values we get,

H= 20 m. So the ball will go upto 20m height.
