v=0
u=9.8
a=9.8
now
 {v}^{2}  =  {u}^{2}  + 2 \times as \\ 0 =  {(9.8)}^{2}  + 2 \times ( - 9.8) \times s \\ s =  \frac{ {(9.8)}^{2} }{2 \times 9.8}  \\ s = 4.9m
