impulse = force(f) × time(t)
= mass(m) × acceleration(a) × time(t)
[ as force = mass × acceleration ]
as acceleration = (v-u)/t
{where u = initial velocity and v = final velocity }
then,
impulse = mass × (v-u)/ time × time
= m× (v-u)
= mv -mu
assuming it's inital velocity 0
the impulse
= (0.25)(10) -(0.25)(0)
= 2.5 - 0
=2.5
so the impulse was 2.5 Ns.
