a ball of mass 0.2 kg is allowed to fall from a height of 5m and after hiting the floor bounces back to a height of 4m determine the impulse of ball is subjected to if the time of impart is 0.1 estimate the force experienced by the ball.

Velocity after strike = V upward

u=root2gS1=root2×5×5=5root2m/s    g = 5 taking 

V=root2gS2=root2×5×4=root40m/s=2root10

change in momentum = impulse

mu-(mv)=F×t

F= 1×2root5+2root10/t

F= 2root 5(1+root2)/t

F= 2root5(1+1.41)/0.1

F=2×2.236(2.41)/0.1

F= 2×5.388/0.1

F=10.777/0.1

F=107.77N
