Answer:

  1.  \fbox \red {The  Kinetic energy is 50 }
  2.  \fbox \green { The speed at that instance is 10 m/s }

Explanation:

GIVEN:-

MASS = 1Kg

DISTANCE (s) = 5metre.

When the ball is dropped at that time the initial velocity was 0 m/sec

Acceleration due to gravity = 10m/s²

Speed just before it reaches the ground = v

Let's find the value of v

We know that

 {v}^{2}  -  {u}^{2}  = 2as \\  \\  {v}^{2}  - 0 = 2 \times 10 \times 5 \\  \\  {v}^{2}  = 100 \\  \\ v =  \sqrt{100}  \\  \\ v = 10 \: m etre \: per \: second

 \fbox \purple{ Hence The speed at that instance is 10 m/s }

Kinetic  \: energy \:  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times m \times  {v}^{2}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{1}{2}  \times 1 \times  {10}^{2}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{1}{2}  \times 100 \\  \\  =  > 50 \:

 \fbox \red {Hence the Kinetic energy is 50 }
