A ball of mass 1 kg is thrown vertically upward with speed of 30 m/s. Find the potential energy when it is at half of the maximum height. (take g= 10m/s)

2gs = v^2-u^2

2×10×s = 30^2-0^2

20×s =900-0

s=900/20

s=45

PE = mgh

PE = 1×10×45/2

PE=5×45

PE= 225J
