A ball of mass 10 kg moving with a velocity of 15 m/s collides head on with another ball of mass 10 kg moving with a speed of 10 m/s in the same direction. After collision velocity of first ball is 12 m/s in the same direction as of its initial motion. What is velocity of second ball after collision and impulse on it during collision.

Answer:

hey i am  in  hurry  so just telling the way to solve, apply the conservation of momentum wala formula m1v1 + m2v2 = m1u1 + m2u2

and impulse is  nothing but change in the momentum

so find the change in momentum of the second ball as

final momentum{need to find} - initial momentum{given}

kindly mark as brainliest as i know u are smart enough to solve by reading this

Answer:

Final Velocity = 13

Impulse = 30

Explanation:

Value's:

m1 =  10

m2 = 10

-----------------

u1 = 15

u2 = 10

-----------------

v1  = 12

v2 = ?

----------------------------------

Solution:

-------------------------FINAL VELOCITY------------------------

Conservation Of Mass: m1 u1 + m2 u2 = m1 v1 + m2 v2

250 = 120 + 10 v2

v2 = 13

------------------------IMPULSE-----------------------

now we know final velocity = 13

P1 = m2u2 = 100

P2 = m2v2 = 130

P = P2 - P1 = 30

im sorry if im wrong
