ANSWER

Given,

m= 100g = 0.1kg

v = 10m/s

Kinetic energy of ball is given by

KE =

 \frac{1}{2} m {v}^{2}

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 0.1 \times 100

= 5 Joules

m = 100 g = 0.1 kg

v = 10 m/s

 \frac{1}{2} mv {}^{2}  \\  \\  \frac{1}{2}  \times 0.1 \times 10 \\  \\  \frac{1}{2}  = 0.5 \: joule
