Initial velocity= u = 10m/s
final velocity v =0
So v=u + at
0 = 10 + a(0.02s)
-10= 0.02a
a = -10/0.02
a=-500m/s^2
so force applied = ma = 10^-3 kg ×(-500 m/s^2)
Force = -0.5N
impulse = average force × time
= -0.5 × 0.02
=0.01 Ns
final velocity v =0
So v=u + at
0 = 10 + a(0.02s)
-10= 0.02a
a = -10/0.02
a=-500m/s^2
so force applied = ma = 10^-3 kg ×(-500 m/s^2)
Force = -0.5N
impulse = average force × time
= -0.5 × 0.02
=0.01 Ns
