Mass of the ball (m) = 150 g = 0.15 kg

Initial velocity of the ball (u) = 20 m/s

Final velocity of the ball (v) = - 20 m/s

Note : - ve sign shows that velocity of the ball is in opposite direction to it's initial velocity

_______________________________

Momentum (P) : It is given by the product of mass and velocity

➡ P = mv

➡  It is vector quantity having both direction and magnitude

➡  May be zero or negative or positive

➡  SI units : Kg-m/s

Change in momentum (ΔP) : It is given by the product of mass and change in velocity

➽ ΔP = MΔv

➽ ΔP = m ( v - u )

_______________________________

ΔP = m ( v - u )

➠ ΔP = (0.15) (20 - ( - 20 ))

➠ ΔP = (0.15) (20 + 20)

➠ ΔP = (0.15)(40)

ΔP = 6 kg-m/s  \pink{\bigstar}
