A ball of mass 1kg moving with velocity 6m/s gets deflected by an angle of 60° without affecting the speed. Find the impulse imparted on the ball.​

Taking the momentum of the ball before collision as P1

P1= m ×v

P1= 0.1 kg × 10 m/s

P2= Momentum of the ball after collision

P2= -(0.1×10) kg×m/s

P2= -1 kg×m/s

Impulse= Change in momentum= P1-P2

P1-P2= 1–(-1)= 2Ns
