A ball of mass 200g falls from a height of 5m. What is its kinetic energy when it just reached the ground?

Given, height = 5m, mass= 200g(0.2kg).

KE = mgh

     = 0.2 * 9.8 * 5

     = 9.8

It’s kinetic energy when it just reaches the ground is nothing but it’s potential energy at that height.

K.E = mgh
= (200 × 10^-3 kg) × (9.8 m/s^2) × 5 m
= 9.8 Joule
