A ball of mass 500g is dropped from a tower of height 20 m . it accelerates uniformly at 10 m/S2
and reaches the ground calculate
I) final velocity
ii) final momentum​

Mass (m) = 500 g

= 0.5 kg

Height (h) = 20 m

Acceleration due to gravity (g) = 10 m/s²

Initial Velocity (u) = 0 m/s

i. v² = u²+2gh

= v² = 2*10*20

= v² = 400

= v = 20 m/s

ii. Final Momentum = Mass*Final Velocity

= 0.5*20 kg.m/s

= 10 kg.m/s
