F=mg
m(mass)
g(gravitational acceleration)
m=0.5kg
g=gravitational acceleration
Now by substituting values,we get
F=0.5 * 9.8
F=4.90 Newton's

The force with which the ball is attracted by the Earth is equal to the force with which the ball attracts Earth.
This is as per Newton's law of gravitation and 3rd law of Newton's laws of motion.

So force = weight = m g
= 0.500 kg * 9.8 m/s^2
= 4.90 Newton.
