Let the ball strike the wall with velocity u =5m/s at an angle 30° with wall. Therefore angle of incidence=60°.Initial momentum along is normal -mucos60° .Final momentum along normal is mucos60°.Therefore change in momentum is =mucos60° -(-mucos60°).=2mucos60° =2×.6×4×.5=3Kgm/s.
