Given;

  • m = 1kg
  • h = 4m
  • g = 9.8 m/s²

Therefore ;

  • work done by gravitational force = gravitational potential energy (GE)
  • GE = m×g×h
  • GE = 1 × 4 × 9.8
  • GE = 4 × 9.8
  • Thus GE = 38.2 Joules
