Initial velocity= 25 m/s
Final velocity= 0 ( as it will reach its highest point it's velocity will become zero)
Acceleration due to gravity= -9.8 m/s^2
v = u + gt
=> 0 = 25 + (-9.8) × t
=> 0 = 25 - 9.8t
=> -25 = -9.8t
=> -25/-9.8= t
=> 2.63157895 s or 2.6 s= t
Thus, the time is 2.6 s.
