A ball room 10m length and 10 m width find out how many tiles are required to pave the floor if side of one tile is 50 by 50 cm

Answer:

let the breadth and length of the tile be .5m and .5m then area of one tile will be 0.5*0.5=2.5m^2

now area of the hall = 4 *10*10= 400m^2

let the no. of tile required=x

then

2.5x= 400

x=160

area of room= 10m×10m

= 100m²

100cm=1m

50cm=1/2m

area of 1 tile =1/2×1/2

=1/4m²

no. of tiles are required to pave the floor=

100/1/4

=100×4
