A ball starts from rest and rolls down an inclined plane in 4 secs. What is its acceleration and velocity at the bottom of the incline.

a)The ball rolls down the incline plane due to the gravitation force acting upon it.
Hence, acceleration of the ball = 9.8m/s² ----- (1)
b) Now the velocity of the ball at the bottom of the incline,
⇒ v² = u² + 2as
⇒ v² = 0 + 2(9.8)16
⇒ v² = 313.6
⇒ v = 17.7087 m/s..
