Answer:

a) initial velocity u =0

b) t = 0.8 s

v = 13m/s

v^2−u^2=2ah

132=2×gh

h =8.6 m

C) Initial velocity in upward direction u = 13m/s

v = 0

a=−g

v=u+at

t=13−0/9.8= 1.326 s

distance tarvelled in upward direction

h' = ut+1/2gt^2

h' = 13×1.326−0.5×9.8×1.3262

h'=9.205 m

total distance tarvelled in downward direction

H = 9.205+8.6 = 17.805 m

H = 0+0.5×9.8T^2

T = 1.34 s

total time = 1.34+1.326=2.66 s
