the answer is 30m/s considering g=10m/s
if u take 9.8 m/s the answer is29.4 m/s

The ball was thrown up by the velocity 30m/s.
The time taken by the ball to go up and come down will be equal.
Hence the time required for ball to go up will be 3 seconds.
At its top height it's velocity will become 0m/s.
hence now according to u=at.
u=10×3
u=30m/s
