Explanation:

velocity at any two points at same height is equal...so when the ball is thrown from top of the tower ..it'll go up upto the highest point and then its velocity will become zero at that max.point but when it start to fall freely now..its velocity at the point which coincides as the top of the tower will be same as that of initial velocity but the accln this time will be +ve since it is moving in direction of gravity....n so we can use s=ut+gt2 to solve
