A ball thrown vertically upwards with a velocity of 10 m/s . calculate the height attain by ball and time taken by it to reach the highest point if the acceleration of ball is -10 m/s power2 during its motion.​

Using,

 {v}^{2}  -  {u}^{2}  = 2gs \\  {u}^{2}  = 196 \\ u = 14ms

where u is the velocity with which the object is thrown upwards.

Using,

v = u + gt \\ t =  \frac{v - u}{g}  = 1.43sec
