given, a=1m/s^2
t=4sec.
u=0
therefore ... according to second equation of motion
s=ut+(at^2)/2...eqn(1)
therefore ....s=0×4+(1×16)/2=0+8=8m..
now..from 8 m at a=10m/s^2 (gravity)
time taken by body to reach ground
t^2=2s/a...from eqn (1)
=2×8/10=8/5
therefore t=√8/5=2√2/5sec.
t=4sec.
