Answer:

in 3.91 sec stone will reach to ground

Step-by-step explanation:

A balloon carrying a stone is moving upward with a constant speed 10m/s when the balloon is at height 75m the stone is dropped

we will find time taken to reach ground

Balloon  moving with constant speed = 10 m/s

Height = 75 m

Distance covered = 75 m

Time taken = Distance/Speed = 7.5 sec

Now stone is dropped from height = 75 m

S = ut + (1/2)at²

Dropped so initial velocity = 0 m/s

a = g ( acceleration due to gravity)

S = (1/2)gt²

75  =  (1/2)gt²    ( time to reach ground)

=> t² = 150/g

g = 9.8 m/s²

=> t = 3.91 sec
