now for coming downward, u=0

so, use 2nd equation of motion to find height,

s=ut+1/2at^2

as u=0,

s=1/2at^2

s=1/2(10)(10)^2

s=1/2(10)(100)

s=1*5(100)

s=5(100)

s=500m

therefore, the height is 500m.
