A balloon has a mass if 10gm in air the aid escapes fron the balloon at a uniform rate with a velocity 5m/s & the balloon shrinks completely in2.5sec calculate average force acting on the balloon

Given:
mass=m=10gms=10/1000 kg=0.01kg
velocity=v=5m/s
t=2.5 sec
Formula:
Using second law of Motion:
F= d(mv)/dt
v is constant for this case.
so,
F=vdm/dt
=5x0.01/2.5
=0.02N
∴Force is 0.02N
