As per the given question, mass = m = 10 g,

Velocity = v = 5 cm/s

Time taken = t = 2.5 s

We know,

force = vm / t = 5 x 10 / 2.5 = 20 g cm/ sec^2

Therefore, the average force acting on the balloon is equal to 20 g cm/ sec^2

Answer:

20 dyne Explanation: m = 10g v = 5 cm/s t = 2.5s force = F = (dp / dt) = (d / dt) (mv) i.e. F = (dm / dt) × (v) = {(10) / (2.5)} × 5 = 20 dyneRead
