Height if the balloon or the 2kg body,s = 81m
velocity while dropping , u = -12m/s (as upwards)
As, s = u t + 1/2 g t^2
or, 81 = -12 × t + 1/2 ×10×t^2
or, 81 = -12t + 5t^2
or, 5t^2 -12t -81 = 0
so, t = 5.4 sec. { solving the quadratic}
So, it will take 5.4 second to reach the ground.
