A balloon starting from the ground has been ascending vertically at a uniform velocity for 4.5 sec and a stone let fall from it reaches the ground in 7 sec. find velocityof balloon and its height when the stone was left fall.​

v = u + at

0 = u + (-4.5)(7) ( here g = a , it is negative )

-u = -31.5

u = 31.5m/s -----> velocity of the balloon.

s=h so,

h = ut + at²/2

h = (31.5)(7)+(4.5)(7)(7)/2

h =330m (approx.) ----> height travelled by balloon
