Question:

A baloon is moving vertically upward with a velocity of 4m/s .vWhen it reaches a height of 40m then a ball dropped from it. calculate how much distance it cover when ball strikes the earths surface .

Answer:

160m

Explanation:

Given => h = 40m

               u = 4m/s(velocity of baloon)

               a = 0m/s (baloon is mass less)

               S =?

So,

'by 2nd equation of motion

S = ut + 1/2 at^2

S = uh + 1/2ah

S = 4 * 40

S = 160m

Hope you undestand
