Answer:

Given that, A takes 3 days, B takes 4 days and C takes 6 days. Therefore amount of work done by them in 1 day is given as:

  • A  = 1/3th part of total work
  • B = 1/4th part of total work
  • C = 1/6th part of total work

Hence if they work together, then the total amount of work done by them in one day is given as:

→ Work done by A + B + C in 1 day = 1/3 + 1/4 + 1/6

→ Work done by A + B + C in 1 day = (4+3+2)/12 = 9/12 = 3/4th of work

Hence for the work to be fully completed it would take:

→ 1 day : 3/4th of work :: x days : 1

→ 1 = 3/4 × x

→ x = 4/3 days (or) 1.33 days

Hence it would take 1.33 days for A, B & C to complete the work together.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that, A takes 3 days, B takes 4 days and C takes 6 days. Therefore amount of work done by them in 1 day is given as:

A  = 1/3th part of total work

B = 1/4th part of total work

C = 1/6th part of total work

→ 1 day : 3/4th of work :: x days : 1

→ 1 = 3/4 × x

→ x = 4/3 days (or)1\frac{1}{4} 1days

Hence it would take 1.1\frac{1}{4} days for A, B & C to complete the work together.

=1\frac{1}{4}
