⇒ As we are given a bar magnet with no marking of poles, So for indicating it’s pole we have to take a string and then freely suspend the bar magnet . A freely suspended magnet always come in the direction ‘ North-South ’ . Hence the pole facing north will be North Pole and similarly the south facing pole will be South Pole.
