A = base times height or
24 = (h + 10) (h)
what is the meaning of this

Answer :

I think it's a triangle that you're talking about. so for that, A refers to Area and base times height means base (in units) multiplied by height (in units)

so A = 1/2 × b × h should be the formula.

Now, 24 = (h + 10) (h) . Maybe it's the area and base that are given. You have to simplify it by using Area of triangle formula to find it's height.
