Given : a baseball has a mass of about 245 g

the player hits the ball across the table with a speed of about 4.00m/s,

To Find :  the ball's Kinetic Energy

Solution:

KE = (1/2) m v²

KE = Kinetic Energy

m = mass

V = velocity

m = 245 g = 0.245 kg

v  = 4  m/s

KE = (1/2) * 0.245 * 4²

=> KE = 0.245 * 8

=> KE = 1.96  Joule

the ball's Kinetic Energy is  1.96  Joule
