Distance - 60 meters

Time - 0.5 secs

Speed = Distance/ Time

Speed = 60metres / 0.5 secs

Speed = (60 × 5/ 10 )m/s

( Here , m/s stands for meters per seconds because we have to put it as unit)

* 60 will be cancelled by 10 and the resulting number will be 6 .So, it will be multiplied by 5

Speed = 6× 5= 30

Speed = 30 m/s
