A basket contains a total of 200 apples, from which 60 apples are distributed among a few children Find the percentage of apples left in the basket​

ANSWER:-

Given:-

There are 200 apples and 60 apples are distributed.

A.T.Q:-

  • Total apples = 200
  • Apples distributed = 60
  • Apples left. = 200 - 60

140 apples are left.

Now, to find percentage =  \frac{140}{200}  \times 100

= 70%

70% of the apples are left.

  • To find the percentage we first divide 100 from total quantity and then multiply it with the quantity left.
