so add apples and oranges 1st
and let pears be x

19/6 +73/9+ x=58/3 convert in decimal
11.27+x=19.33
x=19.33-11.27
x=8.06
In fraction =8 whole 3/50

let the weight of pears be y
therefore , 73/9 kg + 19/6 kg + y = 58/3 kg
LCM of 9, 6 and 3 is 18.
•73/9 = 73×2/9×2 = 146/18
•19/6 = 19×3/6×3 = 57/18
•58/3 = 58×6/3×6 = 348/18

NOW, 146/18 + 57/18 = 203/18

• y = (348-203)/18kg
y =145/18kg

therefore, the weight of pears in the basket = 145/18 kg
