frequency of ultrasonic sound , f = 1000kHz
f = 1000 × 1000 Hz = 10^6 Hz
we know, speed of sound in water , v = 1486m/s
Let wavelength of the transmitted sound is
use formula,
so,
= 1486/10^6
= 1.488 × 10^-3 m
hence, wavelength of the transmitted sound is 1.488 × 10^-3 m
f = 1000 × 1000 Hz = 10^6 Hz
we know, speed of sound in water , v = 1486m/s
Let wavelength of the transmitted sound is
use formula,
so,
= 1486/10^6
= 1.488 × 10^-3 m
hence, wavelength of the transmitted sound is 1.488 × 10^-3 m
